The grid, live.
Every grid has a heartbeat. While supply and demand stay matched, it holds steady at 50 or 60 cycles a second. When they drift apart, it wavers. Here’s how the grids are doing right now.

Measured live in Las Vegas.
We’re building our own sensor to record the western grid’s heartbeat from Las Vegas, many times a second. No one publishes it live today.
Each region’s demand against what its grid operators forecast the day before. The further apart they are, the harder the grid is working to keep up.
Live public data, shown as published. Frequency runs about two minutes behind, and US demand about an hour behind. Not for operational use.
